EcoCitizen is now a member of the Global Commons Alliance, an important global community committed to creating a fairer and more sustainable planet for every citizen on Earth.

We believe that meaningful change can be achieved through purpose-driven collaboration, and becoming part of this global community reinforces our commitment to regenerative impact beyond sustainability.

What is the Global Commons Alliance?

The Global Commons Alliance is an international coalition dedicated to protecting the planet’s shared natural systems, including climate, biodiversity, forests, oceans, and sustainable development. Its mission is to encourage global cooperation in order to build a safer, fairer, and more sustainable future.

The Alliance works with science-based frameworks, including planetary boundaries, to help ensure that human activity remains within the Earth’s safe ecological limits. It brings together governments, scientists, civil society, and organizations to help drive greater and more urgent collective action, taken through an integrated approach to protect our shared home.

Strengthening Our Mission

We are committed to sustainable solutions and to the understanding that meaningful progress extends beyond the protection of the global commons, while also contributing to the common good. This commitment reflects an outcome that connects people, planet, and purpose, translating science into systemic change, sustainable development, and social impact, making our membership even more significant.

Next Steps

Our participation is guided by applied science aimed at keeping humanity within safe operating boundaries for the planet. Through this collaboration, we aim to connect global scientific frameworks with real-world socio-ecological impact, advancing solutions that contribute to climate resilience, sustainable systems, and a more regenerative future for communities and the planet.

Stay tuned to our channels to follow the development of this alliance.
